BIOGRAPHY At age 13, Product, which signifies “a product of my environment”, was not living the life of an ordinary kid. Having been left alone by his parents to raise himself, Young Product resorted to living a life of crime in a gutter- wrenched neighborhood in Detroit, Michigan. Without the proper guidance and support by his parents or family, he found himself in jail by the age of 17, where his life was ironically changed for the betterment of his future. Quickly realizing jail was no place to spend the rest of his life, Product continued developing his passion for rap. Through all the negativity surrounding him from his life of crime in the streets to his time in jail, his ability and talent to connect a message in his lyrics to relate to people in situations such as his, was the only ounce of positivity he saw in his life. Now, still at the young age of 27, Product aspires to achieve his life-long dream of selling millions of records and empowering people through his music.

His obvious talent and skills quickly caught the attention of his fellow inmates who even offered to pay him to rap for them, as a mode of creating a voice for their struggles and experiences. From then on, Product realized his gift to understand his environment and reflect it in his lyrics to help people going through similar struggles such as his own, which in turn provided a mean to support himself in jail. Surely, he was stepping in the direction of chasing his life-long dream in a career in rap music. Once Product was released from jail, the pursuit of that dream continued. Since then, he has collaborated with respected artists in the industry such as Black Wall Street’s very own The Game, D Block’s Jadakiss, Styles P, Jae Hood, Grand Hustle’s Rashad Morgan and Russell Simmons’/So So Def’s Short Dog. He has also worked with respected producers including Warner Brothers/Playmaker Music’s Nitti Beatz, and D12’s Denaun Porter. Worldly renowned DJ Kay Slay also featured Product in his mixtape: Down with the King Pt. 2, recognizing his diligence and determination in making hot, new, and fresh music.

Now, still at the young age of 27, Product aspires to achieve his life-long dream of selling millions of records and empowering people through his music. “People can relate to what I’m talking about,” says Product. “I get messages from people all around the world that can relate to my music and ask for advice from me. I’m not in the game to rap about ‘I got this, I got that’. I’m here to impact and empower as many people as I can through my music. That’s why I’m in this game.” In 2010, Product signed a deal with Hoopla media group / Universal and currently, Product is traveling from city to city and state to state, expanding his network of relationships in the industry and fan base, while continuously learning more about the music industry for his preparation to take over the rap game by storm
